Tammy Horner made her transition into a career in real estate in 2016, after 15 years of experience working as an attorney on legal matters related to real estate and financial planning. Her work has included real estate closings, contract preparation, title examinations, Fair Housing and ADA, wills and probate, small estate planning, guardianships and adoptions. Tammy also has experience with new home construction, custom-built properties, and renovations on older homes, including knowledge of how to remodel a home for greater accessibility and ADA compliance.
In addition to her JD, Tammy also holds an Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation and a Military Relocation Professional certification. She is a member of National Association of Realtors, Florida Realtors, Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee, Illinois Realtors, and Chicago Association of Realtors.
For her clients, Tammy provides not only expertise but enthusiasm for the process that goes into making a new home, from scouring available neighborhood options to envisioning the final product. She also has a great love for the sunny shores and lifestyle of the Gulf Coast, beginning way back with childhood visits to her great-grandparents’ home in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. Tammy’s clients will find her organized, informed, and easy to communicate with.
Outside of her real estate career, Tammy is a devoted mother and a huge fan of the arts, encouraging and supporting her kids’ talents in theatre and music. A self-diagnosed foodie, she loves cooking and exploring the city’s many restaurants, farmer’s markets, and other events. She also volunteers in her community, but her happy place will always be on one of Florida’s beautiful beaches!
